Help

Every /mod command, in plain words: what it does, what it asks for, and what it costs. This page is for the person running a Discord server on jevmod. If you are building on top of jevmod instead, the developers page has the SDK, the HTTP API and the MCP server.

Type /mod in your server and Discord's own autocomplete lists the same commands with the same descriptions. This page adds the numbers and the limits that do not fit in an autocomplete hint.

What costs what

Every command on this page that only shows or changes a setting costs nothing. /mod test is the one exception: on Trial or Pro it judges the message exactly as if a member had posted it, so it counts toward your judged-message quota for the month if a local rule does not catch it first. On Free, /mod test never reaches the model at all.

The local rules further down this page, links, blocked words, patterns and anti-raid, run on every plan, including Free, and never touch the model at all.

The commands you will use most

/mod status
Shows what every category and rule does, how sure jevmod must be before it acts, every local rule you have set, and how many messages have been judged this month against your plan's limit.
/mod test message
Runs one message through jevmod exactly as if a member had posted it, and shows the probability for every category, without deleting anything or muting anyone. The reply is visible only to you.
/mod recent
The last ten things jevmod caught in this server: who, when, which category or rule, and what happened to the message.
/mod reset
Puts every category back to its shipped default: flag, delete nothing. Your custom rules are left alone.

Setting what jevmod watches for

/mod set category action threshold
Chooses what happens for one of the nine categories: off, flag (report only), delete, or timeout. The threshold is how sure jevmod must be before it acts, from 50 to 99; higher acts less often. Only /mod set can turn a category on that ships off, off-topic and the experimental written-by-a-model category.
/mod rule name text action threshold
Adds a rule in your own words, up to five per server, each judged the same way as a category. Leaving text empty deletes that rule. Threshold defaults to 80 when left empty.
/mod trust role
Toggles a role whose messages are never judged, by the model or by any local rule. Running it again on the same role un-trusts it.
/mod staff judged
By default anyone who can manage messages is exempt from every check. Set this to true to judge moderators like everyone else.
/mod topic topic
Says what a channel is for, in a full sentence, so the off-topic category has something to compare a message against. Off-topic checking flags almost nothing without one.
/mod log
Moves the decision log to the channel this command is run in.

Local rules: free on every plan, including Free

These local rules never call the model. They run first, before jevmod even checks your plan or your quota, so they keep working on Free and after a paid plan runs out for the month.

/mod link mode action
Blocks links: off, invites only (discord.gg and similar), an allowlist of domains you choose, or every link. /mod link_allowlist action domain adds, removes or lists up to 25 allowed domains.
/mod words action word
Blocks up to 100 exact words or phrases, 2 to 64 characters each, matched whole so a blocked word inside a longer one does not trigger. action is add, remove or list.
/mod pattern name pattern action
Blocks messages matching a regular expression you write, up to five per server, each validated before it is saved so a broken or catastrophically slow pattern is refused rather than stored. Leaving pattern empty deletes it.
/mod raid joins repeats action
Two independent counters, both over a 60 second window: joins (3 to 100, 0 turns it off) posts one alert when that many members join, and never bans, kicks or locks the server. Repeats (3 to 50, 0 turns it off) applies your chosen action once that many different members post the same message.

Trial, Pro and leaving

/mod upgrade
Opens Stripe Checkout, which takes a card and starts a fourteen-day trial of the model's judgement on every category and rule you have turned on, on top of the local rules, which already run for free. Once you are already subscribed, the same link opens Stripe's billing portal instead, to change plans, update the card or cancel.
/mod forget
Deletes every setting, usage count and decision log jevmod holds for this server. It does not cancel a Stripe subscription: cancel in the billing portal first, or Stripe keeps charging the card. Full wording is on the terms page.
/mod forget_user member
Deletes one member's entries from this server's decision log, for an erasure request.

Prices, quotas and what counts as a judged message are on the pricing section and spelled out contractually in the terms. Stuck, or need a refund: the support page is the one place for that.
